Making our Own Fall Leaves: Coffee Filter and Glue Gun Style

We've been busy making more fall around here.  This time we cut the leaves out of coffee filters, and drew on  lines with a glue gun.  Then I let the girls use watercolor paints to decorate the leaves.  It made for a pretty effect!

Do you think that would that work just using a white crayon to draw the lines?

Very cool! We just made coffee filter butterflies last night. Looks like I should have bought coffee filters at the store today lol

These are beautiful! Love the glue gun idea....you could use puffy paint too! Does the glue peel off and leave white veins?

I used regular school glue and it still worked well! Thanks for the idea!
