Sprinkly Cheerios Bracelet
These are a smidge less healthy than the traditional Cheerio bracelet, but definitely more fun.
Yesterday, in the midst of turning ourselves into cupcakes, we smeared the outside of some Cheerios with plain white icing (powdered sugar and water), and then rolled them in cake sprinkles. The effect was a plate full of teeny, tiny sprinkled donuts!
After they had dried for about an hour, I let M string them onto a pipe cleaner for a bracelet. I really liked using the pipe cleaner; it was stiff enough to thread well, and the fuzziness kept the Cheerios from falling off.

That is a great idea! Looks like fun!
This looks like a lot of yummy colorful fun. :-)
Oh my gosh, you're reading my mind. My son's school is out during the week of July 4th and I am brainstorming some ideas to keep both of us busy. In addition to looking at your site for ideas I thought I was so clever to put on my list "make Cheerios bracelet." Except, I couldn't figure out what to string them on as floss is too floppy and needles are too sharp. Pipe cleaners are genius, and I have them to spare! Thanks!!!
I was thinking about using string and tying one end to something else so the Cheerios wouldn't fall off, but I think this turned out to be easier.
Gorgeous little girl! This idea looks like so much fun!
