Upon arriving at a friends reunion and realizing that an oversight had led us to bring the Settlers of Catan expansion pack but not the actual game, did we go out and buy a new one just for that weekend? (our friends are diehard fans of the game just like we are. See this post to find out why we love it)
No! Our very clever friends made a copy of the game out of cereal boxes! Wasn't that resourceful of them? It worked fine and saved us about twenty five dollars!

That's fantastic! We love this game too. Have you tried Cities and Knights at all, I'm a purist myself, but my husband likes Cities and Knights better.
We got Cities and Knights for Christmas- can't wait to try it out! I'll let you know what we think!
