Sometimes as adults we forget how exciting something small can be for a child. I remember being thrilled as a little kid when my mother allowed me to sleep in a new place. The ones that are cozy and snug are the best ones! You can even have fun together packing an "overnight bag" with a pillow, stuffed animal, flashlight, etc.
